ABOUT ME

 

Creating has always been a means of escapism, and much needed outlet to indulge my expression through self, be it art, textile design or portraitures.  This is my downtime, my self help manual, and what keeps me sane.  

 

I absolutely relish in taking photographs that exceed ticking the box of how you see yourself or your brand.  I can help build confidence in front of the camera, and it's my job to make you feel completely at ease, and guide you into posing. This enables you to step with purpose, into your power and celebrate yourself in the way you want to be seen.

When it comes to portrait photography I don't have a heavy hand when editing. I naturally lean toward imperfection and raw beauty, I find there is something very humbling and affirming about this realness that has an authenticity all of its own.  The most fulfilling part of picture taking, is creating strong visual portraits that resonate with the individual.  That said, Product photography is a different kettle of fish and all elements will be absolutely pristine in their look!

My many years of creating graphics and surface print for fashion and home have imbued me with an affinity for intense colour, unusual combinations, interesting texture, dramatic effects, and visual impact.  So it goes without saying that I will style and suggest some killer outfit choices, or come up with some fresh and bold takes on your product photography.

I regularly work with various sustainable clothing/accessories and independent businesses tapping into a glorious creative vision, using my styling skills, creative eye, and bold aesthetic to deliver strong product branding, and portraiture as individual as the person.
